Why having the right solicitor is so important
It is well known that purchasing a property is one of, if not the most stressful experiences in life. Once the mortgage offer is issued, everything is then in the hands of your solicitor to work towards completion. Any delays you experience with your solicitor could not only be costly, but also create more stress. You could miss the date you needed to move home by, or if you are remortgaging you could end up paying your lenders much higher Standard Variable Rate if there are any unexpected or unnecessary delays.
When purchasing a property the legal costs involved can vary quite heavily depending on a range of factors. The cheapest solicitor is almost certainly not the best, but we can talk you through the range of options and solicitors we have carefully selected so you feel comfortable with who you use.
